Kink Desist ll Brake Kit
The Kink Desist ll Brake Kit includes everything you need to get your BMX bike to stop quickly. The Kit includes a Kink Desist ll Brake with Kool Stop Supra 2 brake pads, Kink Restrain ll Brake Lever and a Kink Linear cable. This kit makes it simple to have a high quality set up on your bike.
The new Kink Desist II Brake still offer the superior stiffness and stopping power they are known for with their forged and CNC machined arms. In this updated version, Kink now uses a c-clip to keep the pivots in place, along with a new oversized bushing that keep the coil spring centered for maximum tire clearance. A unique straddle cable and cable pivot design also aid to a better and smoother pull. Kink also through in a set of Kool Stop pads an all the hardware necessary to use these as a front, rear or dual cable setup.

The Restrain II lever refines the original design resulting in an even cleaner look and adding more functionality. It is constructed from a fully forged aluminum lever, body, and bracket to maximize strength and stiffness. It features a low profile, finger friendly design as well as an ergonomically designed lever for added comfort in both 1 finger and 2 finger positions. Over-sized hinge joints and pins increase strength and prevent cracks or breaks from over-tightening.
The Kink Linear brake cable features an outer linear strand housing, which greatly decreases bind when the cable twists during tricks. The inner 1.5mm cable is ground smooth to create an even smoother, drag-free pull. Aluminum ferrules prevent housing failure at both ends, and can easily be refitted after cable trimming.
